The first pillared hall (1995)

At the beginning of the excavation the first pillared hall was covered by a layer of debris varying in depth from forty centimeters to one meter.  Much of this material came from the decoration of the walls, the pillars, and the ceiling.  The clearing of the hall has been carried on by subdividing the area into squares in order to facilitate the reconstruction work.
