Visit
the Tomb of Harwa |
The southern wall of the passage to the Shrine of Osiris is decorated with a scene very similar to the allegory of death. Anubis (his two-headed appearance derives from the artist changing his mind partway through the piece) returns to grasp Harwa's hand. Harwa is now shown as a young man. With the separation of the body from the soul he attained a new youth so that he is ready to spend eternity in contemplation of Osiris.
